Learning at the Speed of 7UR7L3

Personal Blog of Brandon Eskridge (a.k.a 7UR7L3)

About the Blog

Hi everyone, I’m Brandon Eskridge, but my hacking name is 7UR7L3, and this is my blog! The two most effective ways to learn are to try it out for yourself, and to teach others. The purpose of this blog is for my own education, both to encourage me to try new things, and to help others to learn.

About Me

For my day job, I’m a physicist actively conducting research in the field of computational methods to solve the quanum many-body problem; but I am also an ethical hacker with experience solving CTF-style challenges, and testing the security of my own computers. I made my first linux-based server (an Ubuntu Sambda file server!) in college, more than 12 years ago, and have enjoyed learning from there. Since then, I have honed my linux fundamentals, code development, and other general technical skills both through my work as a computational physicist and through self study.

Connect with Me on LinkedIn. It will take less than 5 seconds!
